VOLTA began life in Basel in 2005 as a collaboration between friends and dealers to support ambitious international galleries to participate in the art markets’ major cities. This year, we return to present a curated selection of 30 galleries from across the globe.

VOLTA’s new location, Klybeck 610, is an architectural jewel designed by architects Suter + Suter in 1967. It is based in the Klybeck district of city and places the fair in the heart of the city’s international art market – a short 20 minute walk or 5 minute shuttle bus from Art Basel.
