viennacontemporary, Austria’s most important international contemporary art fair, returns in 2024.
In 2024, VCT STATEMENT revolves around the most pressing issue of our time: energy.
In two high-level international panel discussions entitled Nexus Thinking, in cooperation with the ERSTE Foundation, and the special exhibition The Color of Energy, curated by Mariela Baciak and co-produced by Salzburger Kunstverein, the viennacontemporary special programme aims to foster a meaningful dialogue on sustainability through the lens of artists.
The special programme VCT STATEMENT was initiated in 2022 with VCT STATEMENT UKRAINE to link socio-political phenomena with the art world, support conversation and highlight artistic awareness through collaborations with curators and external thinkers.
Victor Lope Gallery will be presenting this year with a selection of works by our represented artists.
